Find Joy in Your New Life

A month after I retired, I brought my youngest child to college. When I came home to an empty house I asked myself, “Now what were all those things I wanted to do if I only had a little extra time?” One of the biggest changes as you transition into retirement is the amount of time you will have to fill. Fill it thoughtfully on your terms.

There a more ways to fill your time than you could ever imaagine. The good thing about being retired is that you can try things out and if you don’t like them, try something else. You may want to spend more time doing the things you did before you retired, whether it be volunteer work, or crafting, traveling, working out and eating healthy, cooking, the list is endless. You may want to try new things, explore new ideas and people. The good news is, you will have the time. You may find an article on this page that helps you in your quest to find joy in your retirement.
